Susan S. Lewis
Susan S. Lewis is a CPA and small business owner from Schaumburg, IL with a long history of using her experience and expertise to bring the best results for her clients.
After graduating with a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Susan worked for The Big 6 and then a regional airline, but was eager to branch out and open her own business. So in 1986, Susan decided to start her own practice. She managed to successfully build up her public accounting company and client list while juggling the (frequent) demands of being a full-time mom. To fully devote herself to both tasks, she built a custom office attached to her home. As her public accounting firm continued to grow, she (at her husband’s not at all subtle insistence) decided to expand and build a new 5000 ft2 office just outside of Chicago.
Susan S. Lewis, LTD has a number of notable clients including four national radio personalities, two Chicago NBC/ABC weathermen, and a whopping 53 Wendy’s in the area. Even with this ever-growing client roster, Susan, as the company’s founder, works hard to ensure her practice remains a family and friend-oriented firm. She prides herself on personalizing every service the practice provides and building strong, lasting relationships with her clients, so they always feel supported.
In addition to her CPA credentials, Susan holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses and has sat on 12 different boards over the course of her career. She is an Insurance Producer offering Life, Health and Variable contracts, long-term care and disability insurance, retirement plans, and investing for individuals and businesses.
Susan and her husband Craig have 3 beautiful children together and two grandchildren, Grant and Rory. They love traveling to new places, are avid Chicago Blackhawks fans (with season tickets!), and spend their weekends looking for the best new foodie spot in their neighborhood.
